Yes. Cascade is a technology provider, not a broker. You are the licensed party and the counterparty to your customers. What changes with your licence is how much of the stack you take from us.
No. In any configuration. Customer money is always held by you. That is a platform invariant, not a setting.
No. A customer holds a contract whose value tracks a basket. Nothing is held on their behalf.
A published value for each basket, starting at 1,000 when the basket launches and moving with its constituents. It is a level, not a price — not a currency amount, and nobody owns units of it.
It is also spread-free: we publish the raw index and you apply your own spread. We never see the price your customer was shown.
Yes — that is the design. The five modules are separable products. A module never reaches inside another; each reads a published contract. Take three and build two yourself if that suits you.
Then turn those modules off. If M1 is off you supply the basket definition. If M2 is off you supply the index calculation and your own market-data licence.
Cascade publishes a live index stream, and position and portfolio reads over the API.
You do, in every configuration we currently offer. Cascade computes and signals; you record the position and execute the close.
No, and the difference is predictable: we value on the index with no spread, and you value with your spread applied. The gap is your spread times the position.

A REST API with OpenAPI documentation, live Server-Sent Event streams, and signed webhooks. Server-side keys only — your frontend never talks to Cascade directly.
